3. Processing of Special Category (Sensitive) Data
The core information you provide—your check-ins, life events, goals, and mission data—is considered special category data under GDPR as it may relate to your emotional state or well-being.
We only process this sensitive information based on your explicit consent, which you provide when you agree to these terms and begin using these features. This data is used exclusively to provide you with the core, personalized features of the Lifechart service. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account.
4. Use of AI Chat and Third-Party AI Services
To provide the AI Chat and other AI-driven insights, we use advanced services from third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers.
- Data Shared: When you interact with the AI Coach, the content of your conversations, along with relevant historical data from your User Content, is shared with our LLM provider via a secure API connection. This is necessary to provide you with a coherent and context-aware experience.
- Data Protection: Your data may be processed outside of the EU/EEA. To comply with GDPR's requirements for international data transfers, we have executed a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with our LLM provider, which includes Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the EU Commission.
- Data Usage Limitation: We contractually prohibit our LLM providers from using your personal data to train or improve their models.
- Anonymization: We do not share directly identifying information like your name or email with our LLM provider in connection with your AI conversations.
